A clear view of your data.

Signals by Productive Keywords is a research tool at signals.day. It uses recent AI news, public video information and keyword estimates to help people discover topics worth researching. What we collect and why

We store your email address, account role, verification status and sign-in records to create your account, deliver one-time codes and protect access. We process IP addresses and request information to limit abuse and diagnose errors. Essential session cookies keep you signed in; we do not use advertising cookies.

We also store research topics, keyword estimates, source links, public video and channel metadata, and the results of our analysis. Public pages can show selected trends; signed-in users can explore the wider library.

Google and YouTube data

Signals uses YouTube API Services to retrieve public channel and video details, such as titles, publication dates, links and public statistics. You do not need to connect your YouTube account. We do not request access to your private videos, subscriptions or YouTube account activity.

Only an authorized Signals administrator connects Google Ads. We store the selected Ads account identifier and an OAuth refresh token so the service can request keyword planning estimates. Google's Ads permission covers managing ads, but Signals uses this connection for research, not to create campaigns, change ads or spend an advertising budget. Ordinary Signals accounts sign in by email code, not Google OAuth.

Google-derived keyword estimates contribute to trend analysis. We do not sell Google user data, use it for personalized advertising or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Access and transfers of Google user data are limited to providing or improving user-facing features, necessary security, legal obligations and other uses allowed by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke a Google connection in your Google account permissions. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not itself erase information already stored by Signals. Email us to request deletion. Google's own handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Service providers and AI

Fly.io hosts the application and its storage; Cloudflare provides domain and DNS services. Resend receives your email address and sign-in message to deliver login codes. OpenAI processes research evidence, topic information and measured facts to suggest candidates and write summaries. We do not send login codes, OAuth tokens or account email addresses to OpenAI for research. vidIQ receives keyword queries to return research estimates.

These providers process the information needed to deliver their services and may process it outside your country. Authorized operators may access information to provide support, investigate abuse or maintain Signals. We may disclose information when legally required. We do not sell personal information.

Storage, deletion and your choices

Account information is kept while your account is active. Research data is kept while needed to provide trend history and operate the service, subject to the source provider's retention rules. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Server-side provider credentials are encrypted or held in deployment secrets; access is restricted to operators. No system can guarantee complete security.

You can request access, correction or deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing carter@greenlinemediasolutions.com from your account address. You can also request deletion of stored Google-authorized data. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within 30 days and explain any information that must be retained for security or legal reasons. Residual backup copies may remain until those backups expire.

Signals is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes to how we use personal information will be explained in the service or by email. We will request new consent before using Google user data for a materially different purpose.
